The 1.53m Tubular Boom mounts sensors away from NRG TallTowers to minimize tower-induced flow distortions. It is a standard boom included in our Solar Resource Assessment Systems.
The robust, dual-beam support structure is made from galvanized steel to resist corrosion. The boom comes with a self-aligning mounting bracket that is easily hose-clamped to the tower, ensuring that the sensor maintains a 90 degree vertical orientation.
Sensor mounting boom for standard NRG sensors on TallTowers up to 203 mm (8 inches) diameter
